Services & How It Works
Before any work starts I’ll ask that you move what you can off of the carpet you want cleaning, especially any breakables. I’m of course happy to move furniture myself, or work around permanent fixtures, but the more of your carpet or upholstery I can see and access the more I’ll be able to clean.
With either carpets or upholstery, I will test to make sure that a wet-clean is safe and will not result in colour loss, shrinkage or any other damage.
For any clean I will require access to hot water and power.
Carpet Cleaning
I’ll always start with a vacuum cleaner, to pick up any dry soils and lift the pile of the carpet as much as possible. After that, I’ll treat any stains I can see individually, and then apply a prespray and agitate either with a carpet brush or a rotating brush machine, depending on the level of soiling.
Once this prespray has had time to work, I’ll extract with a rinsing machine, which will always contain a bacteriacide and deodoriser, to take away any dirt/staining that the treatment has lifted from the carpet, and leave it looking and smelling as fresh and clean as possible!
For most carpets I would expect them to be dry 4-6 hours after finshing the clean.
Upholstery Cleaning
Again, I will firstly identify the material construction of any fabric upholstery and test for any sign of colour loss, shrinkage or chemical damage, to make sure that it is safely wet cleanable.
Then I will treat any stains or noticeably dirty areas first, followed by a prespray and agitation with a soft furniture brush.
After allowing the pre-spray time to work I will use the extraction method, flushing out any dirt with a balanced chemical rinse, again with a bacteriacide and deodoriser.
I would expect most upholstery to be dry 4-6 hours after a clean, though this depends on the material it is made from. Some materials won’t take as long as that, some (though not many) may take a little longer.
Commercial Carpet Cleaning
I’m open to quote to do any commercial cleans at ‘unsociable hours’ - either overnight or on weekends, if that is required.
Usually the process for commercial carpet cleans is the same as above, ie pre-spray followed by hot water exctraction.
Depending on how or when the carpet needs to be cleaned, whether it’s possible to clear an area completely, or that the carpet will need to be dry as quickly as possible, I can also use a lower moisture cleaning process.
This is an ‘encapsulation’ process. Again, I’ll vacuum first. Then apply an encapsulating spray, and always agitate with a rotating brush. This process works by surrounding dirt in the carpet, drying to a crystal that is then removed with a vacuum to complete the clean. Though the clean isn’t complete until it has been vacuumed, results are almost immediately visible.
There are benefits to either process, and I’m happy to discuss further when I quote.
End of Tenancy Carpet Cleaning
The process for an end of tenancy clean is exactly the same as a standard domestic clean.
Once the work is completed, I’ll ask you to confirm when payment has been made so I can email you a receipt as proof of the clean being completed, if required as part of a tenancy agreement.
Pesticide Treatment (for flea/moth/beetle)
Any pesticide treatments will require a conversation so I can understand the nature/history of any pest infestations, and to explain fully every health and safety precautions you will need to take while the treatment is carried out, and afterward.

I started working in this industry 10 years ago. My first experience came at 16 during school holidays assisting a long time professional with commerical carpet cleans and the occasional domestic cleans, this then became part time alongside school and then eventually full time a couple of years later. Though this is a new, independent business I have a wealth of experience in the industry alongside professional training qualifications and full liability insurance.
I am a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association and also certified for pest and flea control treatment.
During my time in this business I have cleaned carpets and upholstery of complete properties, carried out school carpet cleaning and business premises together with the communal areas of blocks of flats and end of tenancy cleans.
Raised in Gloucestershire and now based in Worcester, I am happy to take enquirires from and travel to Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
For all your carpet and upholstery cleaning needs please contact me, Nathan, via phone, whastapp, social media or email. I will aim to respond as quickly as possible.
